根据教育部-IBM中国高校合作项目谅解备忘录所确立的合作方针，在已有的长期良好的合作基础上，IBM于2002年将IBM全球性的博士生英才计划（IBM PhD Fellowship）引入中国🚋。该计划是IBM针对全球的信息科学领域开展的博士生奖励计划。2007－2008年度的博士生英才计划的推荐和评选工作开始了!

2007年IBM计划鼓励在以下研究领域有出色表现的博士生参加评选🚵🏽‍♂️：

Business analytics: optimization, business intelligence, social networks & analysis, information-based medicine, services and software to improve business performance

Business transformation and services innovation: labor based supply chains, Services Science, Management and Engineering

Information management and analysis: real-time data analysis, information based medicine

Computing infrastructure: graphical user interfaces, grid, virtualization, autonomic computing, programming models & tools

Pervasive computing: sensors and actuators

High Performance Computing: BlueGene, Cell/multi-core, power management

请博士生导师在网上在线提名学生参加IBM博士生英才计划遴选⛹🏿‍♂️。候选人要求是全职的并且开始博士阶段学习超过一年时间的博士生。请候选人导师在IBM PhD Fellowship网站：http://www.developer.ibm.com/university/scholars/fellowship/phd/填写提名表👮🏼，提供有关资料供评选委员会评估。IBM从现在开始接受候选学生报名🫴🏽🩱。提名截止日期为2006年10月31日🧏🏼‍♀️。 每个系提名不得超过2名🍙，如果因为本届博士生特别优秀而需要提名超过2名🔹，则需要附上系主任的签名文件🧌，注明每个提名博士生的优秀之处，并且给出本系被提名博士生的推荐排名。

该计划的奖励的范围包括：

博士生奖学金🛤；

为博士生提供在IBM中国研究中心或IBM中国软件开发中心的6个月到1年的带薪科研实习职位；

为博士生安排相关实习科目的IBM专门辅导人员👷；

对实习优秀的博士生☘️，IBM将为其颁发IBM ThinkPad笔记本电脑等💞。
